Greetings from the last stop in the Caribbean during our Summer 2015 Tour, the beautiful island of St Maarten/St Martin which has become somewhat of a second home to many of us in the band. Jacob and myself both grew up here and coming back for me is always extra special because my whole family lives down here.
Usually we start of our Caribbean Tours flying out from Holland directly to Sint Maarten but this time we took a new route which lead us to San Fransisco launching our second OG American Tour. On July 12th Jacob and I departed from Dusseldorf Airport and where later joined by Tim, BZ and Glen (aka Glennis Grace). BZ and Glen have been dating for the past two years and just a couple months ago we released “Some Things Last Forever” featuring Glennis Grace as a single.
After performing together at many of Orange Grove’s shows in the NL since its release, as well as the bulk of Glennis’ national theater tour, we decided to take our collaboration to international waters!
ONE HAPPY ISLAND!
After our American Tour we landed on Aruba and it felt really good to be back in the Caribbean once again! Our show on Aruba took place in the Fusion Piano and Wine Bar and it was a huge success! Even though it was booked quite last minute (4 days before the show!) there were a few hundred people and it quickly became an awesome party!
ONCE A VISITOR ALWAYS A FRIEND…
The following day we flew to Bonaire where we played at the Spice Beach Club. Before our concert we went on a little snorkeling adventure at Eden Beach to take in some of that underwater gorgeousness Bonaire has such an abundance of.

We saw lots of fishies… small snappers and groupers, trumpet fish, cow fish, squirrel fish, sergeant majors, a big lizard fish that I got to touch! Also saw grunts and of course lots of parrot fish, silver fish, goat fish, jacks, a lobster and an eel, flounders, a lion fish which the hotel says they will go kill later… and for the first time in my life i saw a scorpion fish!
Our concert at Spice Beach Club was totally packed and it was an amazing night!

BON BINI NA CURACAO!
The next morning we had to wake up quite early to catch our flight to Curacao where we would play that night at the Wet n Wild. Again a packed house and as beautiful a location for a concert as you could imagine.
All three shows on the ABC islands would turn out to be some of the most memorable in the past years! Unfortunately we had such a short stay on each of the islands making it quite tough to say goodbye… but we are certain we will be back soon and are hoping that somehow we will be able to stay a bit longer next time.
Afscheid! #reggaerock #glennisthemenace #curacao #wetnwild #sexybeesten #sxmtotheworld
